Navigating Change: Embracing New Directions in the NDIS

Change is a constant part of life, but that doesn’t mean it’s always easy to handle. The recent proposed and real changes within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) have stirred up a lot of feelings for many people. For some, these adjustments can be a source of anxiety, uncertainty, or fear of the unknown. Change can feel like stepping into unfamiliar territory, and that can be daunting.

Coping with change starts with understanding your feelings, leaning on your support network, and giving yourself permission to adjust at your own pace. Focus on what you can control and be open to asking questions or seeking clarity when needed. Whether it's connecting with others going through similar experiences or discussing your concerns with trusted professionals, there’s always strength in reaching out.

Have you faced any changes in your life that initially caused anxiety…

She received a standing ovation at her TEDx talk in front of 1700 people, and this conference was no exception. She also received one from us.

This week, my group focussed a lot on active listening and the ability to resonate instead of trying to relate when people share their life experiences. I have listened to many speakers, and Rabia is someone who really moved me. Who I resonated with on numerous levels.
